IMAX Wage Dispute: The half dozen part-time projectionists who put on the show at the IMAX Theater at the California Museum of Science and Industry are leafleting visitors to disclose a long-running wage dispute. The projectionists, whose $6-an-hour pay rate was recently increased unilaterally by the museum to $7.50, have demanded a raise to $8 to $11 an hour. The projectionists have been without a contract for several months as negotiations stalled. “Enjoy the show at IMAX, folks,” says the flyer distributed to museumgoers. “Then, think about the people who put it on for you.”
