Alhambra Company Recalls Doll: The doll could present a choking hazard for young children, the Consumer Products Safety Commission said. Faratak Inc. of Alhambra is recalling about 48,000 of its musical dolls after tests showed that the toy’s plastic button eyes could separate into small parts that could become lodged in a child’s throat. Faratak’s cloth, wind-up doll is in a sitting position and is about 7 inches tall. Its head rotates while it plays the tune “It’s a Small World.” A label under the doll’s dress bears the Faratak name.
