Care in State Nursing Homes
I was appalled to read of the torture that poses as “health care” in nursing homes.
Must it take a Rodney King-type video before the message of outrage against human indignities reaches the ears of officials and legislators? A lot of helpless people (the infirm and aged) are being victimized by those charged with their care.
There is a simple solution. Hit the offending nursing homes where it hurts the most: cash flow! Why not suspend all government and insurance monies to these homes? They’ll either have to “shape up” or be forced out of business.
