Blink of Eye May Miss Something

In response to Laurence P. Blom’s March 24 letter regarding car-pool cheating, I wish to speak up for myself and other legitimate car-poolers.

I drive a car or a van with dark-tinted rear and side windows in the car-pool lane with a 15-month-old baby to her day care and my job. The windows are tinted for her comfort.

I do not see single drivers in the car-pool lanes at all. Many people have babies or small children who cannot be seen unless one is looking at the vehicle straight on. Perhaps you have noticed the Highway Patrol parked on the inner shoulder so they can look straight on at a car.

You should not always believe what you see!
