Action taken by Coach Nolan Richardson and Athletic Director Frank Broyles after an incident involving basketball players wasn’t as fast or as stern as University of Arkansas Chancellor Dan Ferritor wanted.
A 34-year-old woman told police she was sexually assaulted in the athletic dormitory. Four basketball players said they had sex with her, but said she consented. The woman did not press charges.
