Mead Corp.: The Dayton, Ohio-based forest products firm said first-quarter net income skidded 66% to $13.4 million, while revenue eased slightly to $1.10 billion. Mead said results reflect the slowdown in the general economy and large additions to industry papermaking capacity, which are currently affecting all paper and forest products companies.
