Dodger Fans Already Have to Make Their Concession Speeches

Share

All day Friday, April 5, I was fired up. My sons and I were heading to the Freeway Series and Dodger Stadium was just a short drive away. On the radio on the way, Fred Claire stated that the Dodgers have spent over $15 million dollars to update concessions and the scoreboard.

No one could blame the Dodgers for wasting money on players, but the new concessions were slow and very poorly set up. My two sons split up into different lines and “raced” each other to the counter. Clay won by making it in 55 minutes to get a Dodger Dog and a Coke, Drew ran second in an hour and five minutes. I gave up after the first inning.

I run a restaurant and we have several practice runs before we open. I hope by opening day this longtime season ticket-holder doesn’t have to spend another Marriott Weekend in line.
