Well-Dressed Bandits Take $4.1 Million in Jewels

MILAN, Italy —
Five smartly dressed bandits forced employees to open two safes in a Cartier jewelry shop Friday, then took one of them hostage and fled with gems worth $4.1 million, police said.
The hostage, who was hustled into a waiting car, was released unharmed after a brief drive, police said.
