Sad Goodbys: “Nosotros,” a billboard by Los Angeles artist Alexis Smith, will be erected in San Diego today along the northbound Home Avenue exit of the 805 freeway. The work, commissioned by the San Diego Museum of Contemporary Art as part of a series addressing San Diego/Tijuana border issues, features Spanish lyrics from the song “Nosotros,” which Smith called a “sad love song about saying goodby.”
