TUSTIN : Council to Choose New Mayor Today
The City Council is expected to select a new mayor and mayor pro tem at its meeting today.
Richard B. Edgar has served as mayor for the past year, with Charles E. Puckett serving as mayor pro tem.
The position of mayor is primarily ceremonial, but the mayor does conduct meetings and represents the city at various community events.
After the annual reorganization of the five-member body, a reception will be held in the Clifton C. Miller Community Center, near the council chambers.
