Carolco Pictures Inc.: The Los Angeles entertainment firm’s annual earnings jumped 23% to $17.3 million on revenue that soared 90% to $269.15 million. Fourth-quarter profit leaped 21% to $9.86 million, while revenue rose 44% to $78.33 million. Carolco said film revenue nearly doubled in 1990 to $217 million, largely because of its box office blockbuster “Total Recall.”
