Creative Computer’s Net Income Drops 75%

Creative Computer Applications Inc., a Calabasas provider of laboratory information systems, said its net income for the second quarter that ended Feb. 28 fell 75% to $19,629 from $80,099 a year ago. The company’s sales for the period dropped 7% to $1.04 million from $1.12 million in the previous year.

Creative blamed the decreases on delays experienced by its customers in obtaining financing.

Creative also said its stockholders approved a 1-for-5 reverse stock split at the annual meeting on April 12.
