Nissan North America, Detroit, named Ryuhei Narita president of its Nissan Research & Development Inc., effective May 1. Narita, now senior vice president of the unit, succeeds Takeshi Tanuma, who will be transferred to Nissan Motor Co. headquarters in Japan.
