Oral Roberts University will dip into its pockets and rejoin the NCAA, two years after a financial crisis relegated it to the NAIA.
Richard Roberts, vice president of the university and son of evangelist Oral Roberts, said the school would seek to rejoin the NCAA as a Division I basketball team in 1993, the first year it would be eligible.
