New Mayor Pro Tem Is Chosen
Lawndale City Councilman Bill Johnson was unanimously elected mayor pro tem Thursday, replacing Councilwoman Carol Norman. Johnson, 31, who abstained from the vote, will hold the rotating position for a year.
