McDonnell Douglas to Negotiate China Deal: John McDonnell, chairman of the aerospace firm, said China wants to talk to the company about jointly producing 150 more MD-90 jetliners in a deal that analysts said could be worth up to $6 billion. St. Louis-based McDonnell Douglas and the Chinese government already produce MD-90 jetliners in Shanghai. A new agreement would build planes for flights within China, McDonnell said.
