Yields on 5-Year Treasury Notes at 2-Month Low: Yields on five-year Treasury notes fell to the lowest level in two months. The average yield was 7.70%, down from 7.81% at the last auction on March 27. It was the lowest rate since five-year notes averaged 7.51% on Feb. 21. The notes will carry a coupon interest rate of 7.875%, with each $10,000 in face value selling for $9,969.40. A total of $9.06 billion in notes were sold out of bids totaling $32.50 billion.
