The Future Mrs. Springsteen?

It sounds as if wedding bells will ring for Bruce Springsteen and singer Patti Scialfa, the mother of his child. Scialfa, who usually dresses in nondescript denim onstage will forgo her rock ‘n’ roll rags for a white satin wedding gown. A spokesperson for D.N. Evans in Sunset Plaza tells Listen that seamstresses are busily embroidering teardrops on the bodice (could this be symbolic for Springsteen fans?). Their deadline: June.

* OUT OF THE PARK: Major ballpark action is scheduled at noon Saturday in Studio City. Dodger first-stringers Darryl Strawberry, Orel Hershiser, Gary Carter and Mike Scioscia will be the headliners at the opening of Strawberry Patch Kids, a children’s store owned by Lisa Strawberry, wife of the super slugger, whose original designs will be among the merchandise. * ARREARS: OK, so you’ve been working out and finally took that extra inch off your hips. Well, artist Krandel Lee Newton wants to get it on paper. Newton, who in the last 3 1/2 years has documented the derrieres of notables--Danny Glover, Alex Trebek, Leeza Gibbons and Wolfgang Puck--brought his rear views to Los Angeles as part of a world tour. The artist made complimentary drawings of posteriors at the Century Plaza Hotel on Monday at the Broadcast Financial Market convention.

* BEARING GIFTS: What to give the couple who has everything. That was Idele and Leon Rabin’s dilemma in selecting a housewarming gift for TV producer Aaron Spelling and his wife, Candy, who recently moved into their new Holmby Hills mega-mansion. The Rabin’s answer is a mezuza by the late Russian artist Marc Chagall. The Rabins met Aaron Spelling more than 30 years ago in New York and encouraged him to move to Hollywood.
