CM Communications Buys Assets of 4 Stores

A unit of CM Communications Inc. in Panorama City has bought certain assets of four cellular-telephone stores in Northern California for $1.7 million.

In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, CM/CalPacific Cellular Services Inc. said it bought inventory, equipment, vehicles and other assets of the stores from four separate sellers. The stores are located in Walnut Creek, Santa Clara, Palo Alto and San Francisco.

The sellers were Minmark Corp., Tenneson Communications Inc., Richcourt Enterprises Inc. and Pacific Aerie Corp., the SEC filing stated. CM is a distributor of cellular telephone equipment.
