American International Group Inc.: The international insurance organization, which is the nation’s largest underwriter of commercial and industrial coverages, reported first-quarter net income of $375.4 million, a 6% increase over that of the year-ago period. The New York-based company’s revenue rose 11% to $4.1 billion.
