Not Enforcing the Sign Law Is Just a ‘Cop-Out’
Concerning the Alhambra City Council’s postponement of enforcing of the sign law (Times, April 25): Looks like the City Council has no guts. It’s just a cop-out by the Valley Boulevard “crybaby” businesses.
They have had over five years to replace their signs, and they have obviously chosen profits over compliance. They are in fact flouting the law and making a mockery of our judicial system.
As concerned citizens of Alhambra, we will protest by not patronizing any businesses in the city that do not comply with the sign law.
Possibly new council members could do a better job enforcing the law.
