PHEW! A Democratic state Senate candidate has fired off a press release announcing polygraph test results showing he didn’t cheat on his wife and never had sex with a man. . . . Senate hopeful Frank Hoffman of Garden Grove also enclosed test results showing he was drug-free, doesn’t have AIDS and never took money for a vote. Retorts his opponent, Assemblyman John Lewis: “Great for him.” Hoffman sent out the same info when he ran for Congress last year.
