Authorities are searching for a man who used a demand note to steal an undetermined amount of cash from a bank Tuesday morning.
The robber entered a San Diego Trust & Savings Bank branch at 231 West Main St. at 11:40 a.m. and handed a teller the note, said Joel Elder, a spokesman for the El Cajon Police Department. The robber escaped on foot.
The robber was described as white, 25 to 30 years old, 6 feet tall, 160 pounds, with black hair.
