Two Fearless Artists

Calendar provided real insight May 5 into the respective (and incomparable) personalities of Madonna and Blake Edwards (“His Pain, His Gain”). I have a much better understanding of two exceptionally talented individuals. They’re a complex pair.

It’s extraordinary how fearless and forthcoming Madonna and Edwards were in revealing themselves and their psyches. They are to be congratulated for their soul-baring honesty. I hope they will continue to challenge and inspire us with their unique brand of talent--and honesty.

As a fan of both, I relish any insight into what makes them tick.
