Baxter International Inc., Deerfield, Ill., has named senior vice president and general counsel G. Marshall Abbey to the additional office of corporate secretary. Abbey replaces John F. Gaither Jr., who was promoted to vice president and associate general counsel for the Baxter Diagnostics subsidiary.
