Graffiti

I don’t object to the article “Chaka Strikes Again, Police Say” (Metro, May 3), but it does not need to be accompanied by a large photograph of the smug-looking vandal and his friend and another photograph of his vandalism. The problem of graffiti needs to be dealt with and not encouraged by your paper. If you are going to use photographs like the aforementioned, it will only promote more copycat behavior. Put your photographer to work taking more pictures of individual and community graffiti removal projects.
