Claim Against Greyhound Reduced 75%: A bankruptcy judge has reduced by 75% the government’s claim against Greyhound Lines Inc. for back wages for its 6,300 striking bus drivers, officials confirmed. A lawyer for the nation’s lone intercity bus carrier predicted the ruling, which came late Tuesday in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Texas, could result in a out-of-court settlement of government charges against the company.
