With recently acquired Gerald Perry facing third-degree sexual assault charges in Denver, Ram Coach John Robinson said the offensive lineman isn’t expected to join the team until July. Robinson had hoped that Perry could be with the Rams during their two-week mini-camp this month.

Robinson said: “We expect him early in July, to be here, ready to go, unencumbered by any more legal problems.”

Perry, who has a June court date in Denver, is expected to serve a jail sentence of about two weeks. Perry was acquired in a draft-day trade with the Broncos last month.
