CALIFORNIA IN BRIEF : LODI : Seymour’s Son Gets 40-Day Term

Shad Edward Seymour, the 24-year-old son of U.S. Sen. John Seymour (R-Calif.), has been sentenced to 40 days in the San Joaquin County Jail after pleading no contest in his fourth drunken driving conviction. Seymour was arrested last week in Anaheim on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in Lodi Municipal Court last year after his arrest by officers who found him asleep at the wheel of a car stopped in a traffic lane.
