COMMENTS AND CRITICISM

Regarding the new Los Angeles Times Magazine: On the plus side, some of the articles are fascinating (“The Legend of Doc Laporte”) and others scary (“The Big Fix”). What bothers me is that the size is too big to hold easily, and there are too many ads. I suppose so many ads are necessary to pay for the salaries of the 43 staff members. And what happened to Jack Smith’s column? The old magazine was much better.
