One of the many good things about Glendale is that even though we are geographically close to the studios, where anti-family and anti-Christian values are encouraged constantly on radio and most feature and TV films, Glendale retains what Hollywood attacks as square, natural or wholesome.

How refreshing it is to be able to view a symbol of beauty and love in the form of our new bronze statue on our Central Library lawn.

Sorry that Doug Smith in his column wants our next work of art to be less “darling.” What could be more peaceful and inspiring than this family embrace?
