Army Returns 10,000 Troops to Reserve Status
WASHINGTON —
About 10,000 members of the Army National Guard and Reserve were released from active duty and returned to reserve status this week, the Army announced Friday. They were among more than 137,000 Army reservists called to active duty during the Persian Gulf War. More than 52,000 Army reservists remain on active duty.
