About two dozen corrections officers and inmates suffered minor injuries in a cell fire at the Attica Correctional Facility, authorities said Sunday. The cause of the fire Saturday at the maximum-security prison is under investigation.

Attica was the scene of the nation’s bloodiest prison uprising in September, 1971. Forty-three people, 32 inmates and 11 corrections employees were killed in the four-day riot.
