A Van Nuys man charged last month with sexually molesting children has had five additional charges filed against him, and authorities said Tuesday that there are now seven children believed to victims.

Los Angeles police are continuing to investigate Landreth Harrison, 53, and are seeking other victims, Deputy Dist. Atty. Richard F. Walmark said.

Harrison, who has pleaded not guilty, faces a total of nine counts of molestation, two counts of sexual assault and one misdemeanor count of possession of pornography--a homemade videotape depicting children involved in sex acts.

The new charges filed last week include the pornography allegation and four counts of molestation involving four children 10 to 12 years old.

Police said at least two of the victims met Harrison through his volunteer work at the Pacoima Boys and Girls Club. Harrison was fired last year after he organized an unauthorized field trip involving two small boys.

Harrison, who is being held in County Jail, lived in a trailer park where neighbors said young boys often spent weekends. A neighbor said Harrison once explained that he was a Boy Scout master.

He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on the charges June 17.
