Burbank Firm Wins Space Center Pact: Bob Rogers & Co., a Burbank designer of shows for theme parks and world’s fairs, has won a contract to design the production sets and other displays for the proposed $70-million visitors’ complex at the Johnson Space Center in Houston. The complex, to open in late 1992, will include tours of the center and several shows on space travel. Company owner Bob Rogers, who declined to disclose the dollar amount of the contract, said Walt Disney Co. also provided some of the complex’s early design work.
