Links Inc. Chapter Awards Scholarships
The Pasadena-Altadena Chapter of Links Inc. has awarded scholarships to Pasadena students.
Recipients of $1,000 scholarships each are Dexter Leon Meadows II and Judith Ivana Owens of Blair High School, Maisha L. Jeffery of Marshall Fundamental School, Alexander Scott Culpepper of Pasadena High School, Patricia Elizabeth Tony of John Muir High School and Lois Chapman of Pasadena City College.
Students receiving $500 scholarships are Tami Rene Washington of John Muir High School and Tanzania Monique Jones of Pasadena High School.
One hundred dollar book scholarships were awarded to Kymia Jaki Shepard and Garrett Jamal Hines of John Muir High School, Toni Deon Fallin of Marshall Fundamental School, Latifah M. Smith and Hasan Bakij Roberson of Pasadena High School and Shanica Marie Davis of Blair High School.
Links is a public service organization composed of African-American women.
