13-Year-Old Girl Kidnaped on Way Home From School
A 13-year-old girl walking home from school in Lynwood was kidnaped and sexually assaulted by two men in a van before being dropped off in a neighboring city hours later, authorities said Friday.
The kidnaping occurred about 3 p.m. Thursday in the 3900 block of Shirley Avenue, Sheriff’s Deputy Bill Linnemeyer said. The victim was dropped off in Watts several hours later. She called 911 and was taken by deputies to a nearby hospital, where she was in good condition.
The girl told officers that one assailant was white with blond hair, and that the other was wearing a ski mask.
