Hearty Thank-Yous to ‘A Beast’s Best Friend’

Re “A Beast’s Best Friend (May 13): Much praise and a humble thank you to John Walsh of the World Society for the Protection of Animals for his commitment to the animals in Kuwait.

It’s heartening to know there is at least one person in that country who values life. His courage and valor should be an example to all of us to become involved in the ever-shrinking world for both man and animal.

Thank you, Mr. Walsh, for risking your life to care for those unable to care for themselves.
