Matthews Studio Equipment Group, a Burbank company that makes camera and lighting equipment for the entertainment industry, said it has named Edwin S. Clare vice president in charge of sales. Clare is former Western regional sales manager for Ikegami Electronics USA and is now general manager of the Live Time Inc./ShowBiz Expo opening at the Los Angeles Convention Center on Saturday.
