Oakmont (Pa.) Country Club, site of the 1994 U.S. Open, has accepted its first blacks for membership--Eric W. Springer of Pittsburgh and his wife, Cecile. Springer, 62, is a founding partner of the Pittsburgh law firm of Horty, Springer & Mattern. Mrs. Springer, 60, is a former executive with Westinghouse Electric.
