Fremont Compensation Insurance Co. has announced the appointment of Steven Snyder as vice president of claims for its southern region. The Glendale-based firm is a wholly owned subsidiary of Fremont General Corp., Santa Monica. Snyder previously worked for State Accident Insurance Fund as claims manager for the disabling claims unit based in Salem, Oregon.
