Two vintage military airplanes collided near La Fayette, Ga., and one crashed and exploded, authorities said. Walker County Sheriff Al Millard said at least one of the two people on the T-37, a two-seat military training plane, was killed in the crash. Rescuers were searching for the second person. An A-26, a World War II attack plane, sustained nose damage in the collision but landed safely at an airport in Cartersville, about 45 miles southeast of the crash site.
