Semtech Corp. Reports Profit of $425,000

Semtech Corp, a Newbury Park maker of rectifiers and other electronic components, reported that its profit jumped to $425,000 in the fiscal first quarter that ended May 5 from $55,000 a year earlier. Revenues rose 72% to $7.66 million from $4.46 million.

The company said its results for the most recent quarter included $1.94 million in revenues and a profit of $33,000 from Semtech’s Corpus Christi division, formerly Lambda Semiconductors, which it acquired last fall.
