Court on Overseas Abortion Aid
It’s bad enough that the Supreme Court keeps whittling away at abortion rights within our own borders, but to extend its influence in the matter to Third World countries is reprehensible and unpardonable.
Upholding the federal government’s “right” to deny funds to overseas health organizations “which actively promote abortion as a method of family planning” is no excuse. Worse yet, it’s an intrusion on the rights of those who contribute to Planned Parenthood Federation for the purpose of helping others who, through ignorance or accident, become pregnant and choose not to bear children for any reason whatsoever.
In the name of human rights, it’s time that the court overturns laws that uphold the “inhumane rights” of the federal government.
