Readers Decry Dornan’s Actions on Plane

So Rep. Robert K. Dornan (R-Garden Grove) thinks the big mean flight attendant who had to remove him from a plane has a loud mouth. That’s quite an accusation considering the source. Having talked to two people who witnessed the spectacle Dornan made of himself on a United Airlines flight last month, I can’t help but comment on your article (“Aisle Filibuster Grounds Dornan,” June 6).

I am amazed that United Airlines executives would consider apologizing (if they really are) to Dornan. It is Congressman Dornan who should apologize to everyone on that flight. Of course, most of the passengers on board applauded his being thrown off the plane. What did he expect? How many people do you know who are so abusive that they have to be thrown off a plane?

It is incredible that he is now using the power of his office to demand to see the CEO of United Airlines and threatening to amend certain regulations covering airlines over the incident. This is typical of the twisted perception and abusive style that Dornan has displayed for far too long.
