Male Victims
Several articles and editorials have appeared over the past few months in The Times regarding sexual harassment in the workplace, rape, “date rape” and legislation regarding domestic violence. As I recall, all or most of those articles focused exclusively on female victims.
I have been a longtime supporter of the feminist movement and am a member of the National Organization for Women; however, feminism is supposed to mean equality of women and men.
The fact is that there are male victims of sexual harassment, rape, sexual battery and domestic violence.
The saying used to be: “There will be no free men until there are free women.” With that in mind, why does the mainstream feminist movement continue to ignore the rights of men and the male victims?
