Big-Name Salesmen: The film version of David Mamet’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play, “Glengarry Glen Ross,” is landing a big-time cast. Al Pacino, Jack Lemmon and Alec Baldwin have been set for the comedy-drama-mystery about small-time cutthroat real estate salesmen who try to sell tracts of Florida land to gullible buyers. The Jerry Tokofsky production begins filming Aug. 5 in New York with James Foley directing. The film is scheduled for release in September, 1992. Additional casting is to be announced shortly.
