GETTING OUT
Ruth Oney fled the deforestation of Orange County and promptly deforested an acre of her own in Kentucky. Tom and Barbara Tompkins fled high home prices and went on a “real estate shopping spree” in Kentucky. Brandt Vroman lives 20 miles from work in Oregon. I’m willing to bet he doesn’t car pool or use public transit.
We may be able to temporarily escape Los Angeles, but until we change our greedy, selfish ways, we will create Los Angeles everywhere we go.
