COSTA MESA : Photo Class Aimed at Parents, Children

Orange Coast College will hold a photography class this summer designed for parents and children.
The two-session, non-credit class will teach techniques in photo composition, lighting and theme development. The lectures will be on photographing people and their environments, nature, landscapes, animals and wildlife.
The workshop will be conducted by Gary Predmore, a professional photographer who has traveled in Mexico, Central and South America and the Caribbean. His photographs of Ecuador, Colombia and Las Salinas have been featured in the World and I magazine.
The workshop is scheduled for July 11 and 18 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Room 201 of the Lewis Center for Applied Sciences. Registration fee is $39 for one person, $59 for a parent and child and $89 for a family.
