Please Don’t Kick the Tires: Automobiles once owned by former Beatles Ringo Starr and John Lennon are among the celebrity-owned vehicles that will be part of the 15th anniversary Rick Cole Newport Beach Collector Car Auction Saturday and Sunday at the Hyatt Newporter Hotel. Also up for bids will be a 1977 Porsche 930 once owned by rock star Rod Stewart, a 1976 turquoise-blue Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow that was a gift from Frank Sinatra to wife Barbara, and Muhammed Ali’s 1959 Mercedes-Benz.
